Personalised Photo Slates

A photo slate is your favourite picture printed directly onto a piece of genuine natural slate rock. The high-gloss coating makes colours vivid, while the hand-cut, uneven rock edges give every slate its own character — no two are exactly alike.

We print photo slates in six sizes: a pocket-friendly 15x10cm, a desk-sized 20x15cm, a square 20x20cm for portraits, a panoramic 30x15cm and wide 30x20cm for landscapes and group shots, and a large 25x30cm statement piece. Every slate comes with two display stands so it can stand on a shelf, mantelpiece or desk.

What size photo slate should I choose?

15x10cm and 20x15cm suit a desk or bedside table, 20x20cm suits square portraits, 30x15cm and 30x20cm suit landscapes and group photos, and 25x30cm is our largest slate for a mantelpiece or wall.

What photo works best on slate?

Bright, well-lit photos with a clear subject work best, because the natural grey slate shows through the lightest areas. Close-up portraits, couples, pets and colourful scenes look especially good.

Can a photo slate stand up on its own?

Yes — every photo slate includes two display stands.

How long does delivery take?

Every order is personalised in our Milton Keynes workshop and dispatched within 1–2 working days by Royal Mail. Standard UK delivery is £3.99 and free on orders over £30 (Standard Delivery only).
